Position is part-time, 20-25 hours per week
Hourly Wage: $28.00+ per hour
Schedule: Mondays-Thursdays, 10-3, Some Weekends
The Faith Formation Coordinator will report to the lead pastor. They will focus on preparing and creating curricula and lesson plans for volunteers and instructors. They will work with staff and leaders to foster a sense of grounding in community, authentic relationships, opportunities to expand or deepen knowledge, and enjoyment. They will further support and help in developing lay leadership and encourage participation in programs and events centered in formation. Works with staff and lay leadership to highlight and enhance the values of the congregation and facilitate learning opportunities.
The congregation is seeking a highly-motivated person with experience in planning, coordinating, and organizing regular programs. The role would meet regularly with rostered leadership during the week, and regular meetings with a team of volunteers focused on growing, sustaining, and maintaining programs and the formation of children, youth, family, and adults in the Christian faith. Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church programs may include, but are not limited to Sprouts, O’ROCK, Youth Group, and Adult Forums, and assisting with the Summer Vacation Bible School. Familiarity with Lutheran perspective is helpful. Regular hours during work week, and some weekends as needed.

Valuable Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent experience Background in Education
