Experience our New Sanctuary

Experience and become familiar with our new sanctuary space, and sense God’s presence within it during pre-opening quiet times.*

Tuesday, August 31, 6 – 7:30 PM

Wednesday, September 1, 10:30 AM – 3 PM

Thursday, September 2, 10:30 AM – 3 PM

Friday, September 3, 10:30 AM – 3 PM

*Our beautiful sanctuary renovation is now almost complete! And although we’ve planned and anticipated for so long, the prospect of entering this space may create a little un-certainty or worry about what it will be like, and whether we will be able to love it and sense God’s presence in it, as we did before. As with any relationship, it may take a while to feel at home.

To begin getting acquainted with the space, we are invited to spend time in it before our first worship service. Come reconnect with our stunning stained glass windows, arches, hanging cross, and wood ceiling trusses. AND, come get to know the transformed prayer chapel, lovely new oak floors, light streaming in through the grove of trees, oak paneling made from our pews, and enjoy the quiet from reduced street noise.

The sanctuary will be open Tuesday evening, August 31 from 6 to 7:30 PM, and Wednesday, Thursday Friday, September 1-3, 10 AM to 3 PM, and Saturday, September 11, 11:30 AM to noon, after the tour (10 AM) and commemoration of the 20th anniversary of September 11 (11:15 AM).

Come when you wish, and stay as long as you wish!
