Sprouts continues to be a delight to Kari Guddal, Mr. Dana, and Red Bird. Our numbers remain rather small (2 to 6). Our unit for Fall 2022 centered on stories featuring children in the Old Testament (i.e. Isaac, Moses, Samuel, Jeremiah, etc. leading up to prophesies of the Christ child and the birth of Jesus). 

Our class experience features prayers, songs, a Bible story, and crafts. This year I gave children three olive wood gifts made in Bethlehem, including a communion cup, a peace pin, and a Christmas tree ornament.

The photo here is of our Christmas tree decorated by the Sprouts, featuring wooden bulbs they decorated with pictures of the children we studied leading up to Christmas. We are now looking at stories of children in the New Testament.
