Sharing quality time with our home-bound members is one of the most important ministries of our congregation. On May 6th, Our Redeemer’s hosted a training for Emmaus Visitors, and on Sunday the 14th six visitors were commissioned. Julie Vannoy, Kari Guddal, Linda Carbone, Chris Kalinski, Sandy Box, and Noel Wannebo have each been paired with a home-bound member of our congregation to visit with monthly, and share holy communion together. This ministry of our congregation is vital, life-giving, and biblically given. We are deeply grateful for each of these folks, and their commitment to our homebound members who may be quite isolated.
