Community Recycling – October 18th

Saturday, October 18th, 9 AM – 2 PM | Our Redeemer’s Parking Lot 

Our Redeemer’s is hosting a special fall Community Recycling Event on Saturday, October 18 in the church parking lot. We’ll accept most electronics along with clean Styrofoam. This is more than just a chance to recycle unwanted electronics and Styrofoam—it’s a reflection of who we are as a community!

Electronics accepted are: Laptops, desktops, monitors, mobile phones & tablets, servers, cables, software &  accessories, modems & routers, office phones, telecom systems, game consoles, iPods & MP3s and printers & ink toners (more items listed below).

Living Green Technology Accepts

Unused electronics

Laptops, Desktops and Monitors, Mobile Phones & Tablets

Cables, Software & Accessories, Modems, Routers & Servers

Office Phones, Telecom Systems & Game consoles

iPods &MP3s, printers and ink toners

Not accepted: TV in wood cases, lightbulbs, household batteries, large home appliances.

Note: all hard drives wiped to NISIT standards.

Styrofoam

Clean Styrofoam (no tape) and bagged peanuts.

Expanded Polystyrene, also called #6 can bend, squeaks and snaps into loose beads. Examples are clean takeout containers, shipping coolers, styrofoam sheets.

Not accepted: Spray foam, insta-pak foam, foil covered, pink, or blue insulation foam, hot tub covers.
