At 7:00 PM on Ash Wednesday we will host a live service for our congregation and our community. Our service will include beautiful music, confession, absolution, and a brief sermon.
WHY do we do this? Nadia Bolz-Weber says: “Ash Wednesday is my favorite day of the church year and Lent is my favorite season. Our culture has no idea what to do with this day. But to me, there is actually great hope is admitting my mortality and brokenness because then I finally lay aside my sin management program and allow God to be God for me. Which is all any of us really need when it comes right down to it.” Join us.
