On June 30th our community honors and celebrates the queer community by marching in the Pride Parade, in support of queer persons and to advocate for gay rights. 2024 marks the 50-year anniversary since 200+ LGBTQIA+ people gathered publicly in Seattle as an act of collective resistance. This year’s theme is “Now!: Now is the moment. Now is our legacy. Now is forever.” Seattle Pride’s mission is to create unity, honor diversity, and achieve equal human rights throughout our region and the world.
