Worship and Music – July 2017

New! Summer Worship on the Lawn

Have you ever attended concerts at the zoo and wished that church could be like that?  Jump into summer with a refreshing change in the worship schedule!  Wednesdays, bring your picnic and a blanket and head to church for worship on the lawn.  6:00 we will gather for dinner on the grass, with worship starting at 6:30.  Our informal worship band will be leading the music, as we join together for communion and prayer.  Sundays, worship will be at 10 am, in the traditional style (like our usual 11 am service).  Special music from people of all ages will be offered throughout the summer.  Be sure to join us Sundays at 10am, and Wednesdays starting at 6pm! Invite your friends!

On July 16, our 10am Sunday service will be lead by the kids who participated in our Vacation Bible School with the theme “Egypt: Joseph’s Journey from Prison to Palace.”  What a huge blessing to have the energy and intelligence of these children singing and telling the story of God’s love for us!  Mark your calendars!

Healing Prayer Worship

Sunday, July 30 and Wednesday, August 2
On this day our worship includes a focus on Christ’s ministry of healing and wholeness. God’s will for all is wholeness and health in body, mind and spirit. So we pray for healing of physical ailments, as well as for healing in the midst of conflicts, emotional stress, and struggle.
