Reflect. Recharge. Grow.

Transformative spirituality: find your place apart.

Time and space apart from life’s busy routine can be restorative gifts to the soul. Big or small, tranquil or energizing, experienced in solitude or with others, these “teachable moments” help us open our eyes to God’s work in the world and in our everyday lives. It is in these moments that God’s grace transforms us.

Find your place apart on a peaceful weekend retreat, in an act of service, in lively group discussion or during an hour of reflection in our sanctuary. Through many different expressions of spirituality—study, prayer, music, nature, stillness or human connection—we explore new perspectives and find our way towards wholeness and a more fully lived life.

Our community is a safe place to explore spirituality in the way that is right for you. Whatever your questions, experiences and beliefs, you are welcome to find your own transformative moment at Our Redeemer’s.

We also invite you to browse our calendar or contact us for detailed information about our many upcoming events. Read on below to learn more about the many opportunities and ways to explore your spirituality at Our Redeemer’s.

Women’s Retreat

Time away to relax, listen and learn.

Breathe in deeply, close your eyes and imagine yourself at the Hood Canal or Holden Village. Our Women’s Retreat is an opportunity to take in the beauty of nature—the scent of pine, the sparkling water and the evenings just chilly enough for you to welcome the roaring campfire. Unplug, renew and laugh with other women as we share wonderful meals, stunning views and thought-provoking discussion. Enjoy a massage, a walk, a kayak trip or whatever activity feeds your soul.

We alternate gathering at the lovely St. Andrew’s House in Hood Canal, and at Holden Village for an annual weekend retreat filled with nature and good company. Each year we focus on a different topic and invite a special speaker to help us think and learn.

For more information on our Women’s Retreat, contact Pastor Gretchen or check out the calendar.

The Journey

Walking together.

The Journey, a six-week process that takes place every year during Lent, is open to individuals of all backgrounds, interests and spiritual journeys. Whether you are exploring your faith, getting to know our congregation better or joining Our Redeemer’s as an official member, The Journey is a meaningful way to grow in spirit and in community.

During The Journey you can ask questions, connect with others, learn about the Lutheran faith and experience what life at Our Redeemer’s is all about. We’re heavy on hors d’oeuvres, honesty, small-group Bible study and an authentic, unforced sense of community. There is never any pressure join our congregation or to be baptized. If you are interested in taking those steps, however, The Journey is the way to get started.

To learn more about The Journey, contact Pastor Kathy any time.

Centering Prayer

We offer a Centering Prayer with quiet music followed by 20 minutes of silence that offers the space for you to simply BE.

You can come for 30 minutes and still make your Thursday night plans!
